BuildBeat Server System Requirements

Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server
Internet Information Services 5.0 (IIS) or later - see notes below
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later - see notes below

1 GHz Pentium processor or higher recommended
512 MB of RAM or higher recommended
40 MB Hard disk free space for application files,
40 MB additonal for the .NET Framework,
20MB additional for MSDE (see below)

You may install BuildBeat on a server without IIS. However, you will not
be able to access the web-based reporting system, nor will you be able to perform automatic
updates of the BuildBeat Desktop components.
If Microsoft SQL Server is not installed on the server machine, the installation program will
optionally install the Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (MSDE) on the machine. You can also
use BuildBeat with an instance of SQL Server installed on another machine.
Microsoft .NET Framework
The BuildBeat installation program will install the .NET Framework 1.1 if it is not detected
on the server machine in which you are installing BuildBeat.
